Operation Chunky Bandit Mini-Campaign Turn 7

All,

Here are the map moves for Turn 7 of my campaign in South Leon.

Here's what happened:

FSNL1: ELIMINATED
FSNL2: Launches attack on the SLA's B Company, B4 from A4
FSNL3: ELIMINATED
FSNL4: ELIMINATED
FSNL5: ELIMINATED
FSNL6: Reverse course, advance west in attempt to support FLA6 and FSNL9, B9 from A10
FSNL7: ELIMINATED
FSNL8: Though repulsed last night, re-form and attack TF Hawk again, D7 from B7
FSNL9: Attack TF Hammer to halt them short of Pendrakenville, C10 from C11
FLA1: ELIMINATED
FLA2: ELIMINATED
FLA3: ELIMINATED
FLA4: Recovered from failed attack on TF Hammer, attacks TF Bowie in attempt to halt them at the River Shalabi, D8 from B8
FLA5: ELIMINATED
FLA6: Repulsed by TF Hammer, moves west to the river line, B8 from B9

SLA A Co/TF23: ELIMINATED
SLA B Co/TF23: Defend against attack by FSNL2, B4
SLA C Co/TF Black: Hold Hill 114 and continue to direct interdiction strikes on FSNL reinforcements coming south on Route 1, B5
SLA D Co/TF23: ELIMINATED
TF Hammer: Fight meeting engagement against FSNL9, C10
TF Hawk/Dusty: Re-group and reorganize in D7, but attacked again by FSNL8!
TF Bowie: Caught crossing the River Shalabi, defend against FLA4, D8
TF Redleg: Advance east, attack FLA6 on the river line, B8 from C6
TF Razor: Advance east, C7 from C4

The morning of Day 3 sees a flurry of activity as the Communists are realizing this is pretty much their last chance to stem the tide rushing east towards Pendrakenville.  These attacks, those hasty, stand a good chance of success: FSNL9 is a fresh unit attacking TF Hammer, which has sustained heavy casualties and is severely fatigued, while both TF Bowie (crossing a river) and TF Hawk/Dusty (standing up their third commander and command group in three battles) are in vulnerable positions.  FSNL2's attack on the SLA's B Company is probably unnecessary, unwarranted, and unlikely to succeed, but it would appear they believed they needed to do something to assist their comrades further east.

V/R,
Jack
