Operation Chunky Bandit Mini-Campaign Turn 6

All,

Here are the map moves for Turn 6 of my campaign in South Leon.

Here's what happened:

FSNL1: ELIMINATED
FSNL2: Continues holding position at A4m, now outnumbered on the northern front by the SLA's B and C Companies
FSNL3: ELIMINATED
FSNL4: ELIMINATED
FSNL5: ELIMINATED
FSNL6: With their second line pierced, fall back to A10 from A8
FSNL7: ELIMINATED
FSNL8: Fall back and attack TF Hawk/Dusty from rear, C7 from B6
FSNL9: With their second line pierced, fall back to A10 from A8
FLA1: ELIMINATED
FLA2: ELIMINATED
FLA3: ELIMINATED
FLA4: Recovering from failed attack TF Hammer, hold at B8
FLA5: ELIMINATED
FLA6: Advance from reserve position and attack TF Hammer to halt the penetration, C9 from D9

SLA A Co/TF23: ELIMINATED
SLA B Co/TF23: Hold, B4, content to screen FSNL2 off from north
SLA C Co/TF Black: Hold, B5, content to screen FSNL2 off from north
SLA D Co/TF23: ELIMINATED
TF Hammer: Fight meeting engagement against FLA6, C9
TF Hawk/Dusty: Defend against attack from rear by FSNL8, C7
TF Bowie: Advance east, D8 from D6, fording the River Shalabi
TF Redleg: Advance east, C6 from C4
TF Razor: Advance north, C4 from E3

So, it's the night of D2 and things are progressing nicely, though the Cuban company-size task forces are starting to suffer from attrition and the operational tempo.  There are only two fights this phase, both on account of the Communists acting very aggressively to halt/seal the penetration towards Pendrakenville via the main east-west running artery, though that means they're leaving Task Force Bowie with a relatively open cross-country advance on the capital.  This phase will see Major Chavez' beleaguered Task Force Hammer taking on the insurgents of the FLA's 6th Company, while Captain Villagrosa's embattled Task Force Hawk/Dusty attempts to fight off the pursuing FSNL 8th Company.

V/R,
Jack
