President Waraldonez and Generalissimo Estevante decided to send additional troops and equipment to supplement Task Force Trojas in Cronistria as its mission was going well and it appeared the Cronistrian Democrats may defeat the Cronistrian Communists if reinforced. The reinforcements, approximately a mechanized battalion, arrived in Cronistria on 20 June 1990, preparing to undertake operations to isolate the Cronistrian capital of Miran on or about 29 June 1990. As the Task Force had grown much larger, a higher ranking leader was sent to take command from Lt Trojas.
